Join Swift Industries founders Martina and Jason on a casual ride out to the 10th anniversary of Swift Campout Basecamp on Vashon Island. The ride is approximately 19 miles at a pace of 12-15 mph, no drop.

Saturday 6/22, Breakfast at 9am, Roll Out! at 10am: Meet at Goodweather Bikes & Tailwinds Cafe for coffee and breakfast before we depart at 10am. Our first destination will be the Fauntleroy Ferry Landing via Harbor Island and Alki Beach, aiming to catch the 11:35 or 12:15 ferry. After a short ferry ride we will then ride a hilly 5 mile route to AYH Ranch. Once we are settled in, the solstice celebration begins with basecamp activities, and an afternoon trail ride through Center Forest.
Sunday 6/23: Check Out by 11am
- 10am – Jason and Martina will head back toward the ferry on simple route then the day before.
- Head out on your own or with friends. Please let your ride leader know.
Your registration reserves space at camp, and covers firewood, s’mores supplies, refreshments and light breakfast to ring in Summer! Starry skies permitting, you can stargaze in the field. Happy Summer Solstice! Make sure you register at swiftcampout.com!

Some Camp Highlights:
- Tie Dying Station. BYO garment to tie dye; we’ll have a limited number of shirts to choose from as well.
- Coffee Roasting Demo with Coava Coffee
- Weather permitting, full moon gazing with friends
- Beverages, treats, and light breakfast provided by Swift Industries
- AYH Ranch offers showers, a shared kitchen area, covered area for hanging out
Optional bonus miles:
- Drop your gear at basecamp and head out with Swift Industries’ Co-Founder Jason Goodman to explore the trails and single track on Center Forest, capping it off the cider at Dragon’s Head Cidery.
We suggest a bike in good working order for this excursion with a wide range of gears for climbing hills. You will need to be able to bring your camping gear on your bike or on your body. We recommend racks on your bike with panniers or bags attached to your bike frame. Please bring essential tools and a flat repair kit, though we can help if there are any issues.
Please bring your own dinner and supplemental breakfast goodies.
Ferry tickets are not included.
