Swift Campout: Shred Portal Edition

06/22/2019 - 06/23/2019 Seattle, WA 2 Days 1 Night 90 Miles Round Trip Advanced Level Difficulty Single Track

Looking for a hearty challenge for Swift Campout? If you’re a seasoned mountain biker and strong rider, posse up with this group of hoodlums and head to meet everyone at camp by way of dusty roads and single track. Recommended for folks with mountain biking experience, and fitness to ride a loaded bicycle 35 dynamic (aka intermediate to advanced) miles each way. This ride goes up and over Grand Ridge Trail. Plan to carry your own camp gear, repair kit, and bring your own meals.

Swift Adventure Co. founder, Jason Goodman weaves together his favorite routes from the Grand Ridge Trail to the Tolt Pipeline and Thrilla Loop for 90 miles round-trip that’ll blow your mind and tucker your legs.

Our posse will join kindred campers in our wilderness cul-de-sac for an evening of solstice celebrations at the confluence of the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers. Summer skies permitting, you can join a night-hike up to the summit of Tolt MacDonald for hike-a-brews and stargazing.

Is the Shred Portal Edition sounding like a little more than you’re looking for? Riders looking for a relaxed and beautiful route following bike-trails and farm roads should sign up for the Farm Roads Edition of Swift Campout.

First-time bicycle campers are encouraged to join our Essentials of Bike Camping Clinic on June, 5th 2019. It’s free! Register here.
