Official Workshop Info
Swift Adventure Co.’s two-day full frame bag making workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of manual patterning, product design, and the essentials of operating an industrial sewing machine. You’ll leave with the confidence to apply your skills to making your personal outdoor gear as well as with problem-solving, design thinking, and hands-on experience that can only enhance your work-life, regardless of the field you’re in.
Bicycle compatibility: Since you are making a frame bag for your own bicycle, having your bicycle at the workshop is necessary. Please note that every bicycle’s geometry is unique, and thus a frame bag is not likely to fit on multiple bicycles–prepare to use it on one bicycle.
For this introductory workshop: no bicycles with frame-integrated suspension. Fully rigid bicycles with a substantial inner triangle is required. If your bicycle’s seat tube or down tube measure 8″ or less, then the frame geometry (does not apply to the head tube measurement) is not ideal for a beginner workshop. Road/touring/cross/gravel bicycles and old-school mountain bikes are highly recommended.
